Q: What happens... if I’m not at the location my items are going to be delivered to?
A: No worries, Many if not all items don’t require you to be there to have delivered. We kindly ask that you be in contact with the host or resort you will be staying at so that I may facilitate delivery prior to your arrival. I will also reach out to the resort however, if you are renting privately I ask that you provide the contact information of whom you are renting from so that I may facilitate this as smoothly as possible. Usually everyone is very accommodating!
Q: Do I need to clean my item before returning it?
A: In short, Yes, kind of. All items need to be returned in the same condition in which they were rented. Please make sure all personal items are removed if applicable and the items need to be clean and in presentable condition but you do not need to perform an extensive cleaning. I then perform an extensive and thorough cleaning and sanitizing process.
Q: Can I rent for only a day?
A: Rentals have a three day minimum rental period of 3 days. However if you will only need the item for a day please contact myself, Desiree, and I will see if the item is available for you to have that day. Additional fees will apply for special accommodation outside of the 3 day minimum.
Q: Can I rent last minute?
A: Yes same day rentals need to be made by 1pm and as long as the item is available. If you need a last minute item I ask that you let me know as soon as you are aware that you need the item and a rush fee will apply.
Q: Is my information kept private?
A: Yes. I take privacy very seriously so you can trust that your information will never be sold, or shared unless it is with the party you are renting from.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes! Cape Cod Beach and baby rentals is fully insured and it’s locally owned and operated locally!
Q: I rented an item but I no longer need it, do I get a refund?
A: Items that have been rented and are no longer needed, may be exchanged if the item they are looking for is available. As long as CCBABR receives a 48 hour notice of cancellation you will receive a 50% refund. Items rented with less than a 24 hour cancellation will not be refunded.
Q: What happens if an item is lost stolen or broken?
A: Any item that has been rented under your name needs to be returned in the same working condition received it in. If the item has been lost, damaged, or stolen, you will be responsible to pay for that item in full at the full retail price.
Q: Can I lend the item that I rented to a family friend who is also here visiting?
A: Only the person who has purchased the rental should be the person using it. Cape Cod beach And Baby Rentals is not responsible for any other party, or participant who uses, is injured or any damaged items in another persons possession. Please think twice before doing this as you will be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items that have been rented under your name. (Please see my terms and conditions which explains all of this but it is in legal jargon so it can be a little confusing. Hopefully this explanation helps)
